2007-2008 Twin Cities Home Economists in Business Upcoming Events

Thursday, November 13, 2008 — 4:30 p.m. Will be the 2008 District K meeting sponsored by the Minnesota Association of Family and Consumer Sciences
(MAFCS) organization. The meeting is a joint Meeting for members of MAFCS, TC HEIB, FACSEd, TCHC and Phi U.

The program begins at 5:15 PM: Marcia Copeland will honor the life and legacy of Ellen Swallow Richards and home economics early and more recent years.
     6:10 PM - Dinner
     7:15 PM - Professor Jean Kinsey, Director of the Food Industry
     Center will provide an update on the current food industry response to global and family matters in light of today's economics
