Scholarships for Specialization in Family and Consumer Sciences
The Minnesota Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (MAFCS) sponsors scholarship awards.
Purposes:
-
To recognize scholastic ability, leadership and professional experience
-
To encourage students to continue their study in the field
-
To provide financial assistance
Undergraduate Eligibility
-
Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a Human Ecology or Family and Consumer Sciences major attending a college or university in Minnesota.

A college junior or senior with an academic average of B or above (not less than 3.00 on a 4 point scale).
-
Student member of AAFCS/MAFCS.
Graduate Eligibility

Evidence of professional promise

Evidence of service to the college or university and community

Financial need
-
Preference to a Minnesota resident
For 2009 one scholarship is available.
